Launch policies
Effective August 24, 2026
Purchase and publication
A purchase reserves a defined area of a OurWall campaign. Payment does not guarantee publication. Artwork is published only after moderation. Approved placements remain for the campaign term and archive described on the campaign page.
Editions and preservation
How a wall closes. Each wall is one edition. It closes once all of its space is claimed, or when its closing date arrives if it has one, whichever happens first. A closing date is always shown on the wall at least 30 days before it takes effect.
What stays fixed. Approved pieces never move, are never resold, and are never covered by another buyer.
After a wall closes. No new space is sold, and the finished wall is preserved.
Content license
You retain ownership of submitted artwork and grant OurWall a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, resize, reproduce, display, archive, and promote it in connection with the campaign. You confirm that you control the necessary rights.
Content standards
No unlawful, deceptive, infringing, hateful, sexually exploitative, malicious, impersonating, or privacy-invasive content; no unsafe downloads; and no links that materially change into prohibited destinations. OurWall may reject or remove content to protect visitors, partners, or the project.
Refunds
A claim rejected during initial moderation receives a refund to the original payment method. Approved and published placements are generally final. Duplicate charges, technical failures, and legally required refunds will be corrected. Processing time is controlled by the payment provider and issuing bank.
Privacy
We use purchaser email, payment references, claim details, artwork, and technical records to process purchases, moderate submissions, support customers, prevent abuse, and operate the archive. Card information is collected and processed by Stripe, not OurWall. Public claim pages display only approved artwork and customer-supplied public content.
Community giving
OurWall walls do not currently direct any part of a purchase to charity. If a future wall supports a cause, the percentage and recipient will be stated on that wall before purchase. A purchaser is buying wall space, not making a charitable contribution.
Support and takedowns
Questions, rights complaints, and takedown requests should include the claim number, campaign, and supporting details and be sent to the support address shown at checkout. OurWall may request identity or rights verification before acting.
